To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is truly one of the greatest books ever written.I don't know why this book is considered young adult. Is it because most of us read it in high school? I read it Freshmen year, and I basically forgot everything. I think that 9th grade is just too young to fully appreciate this literary masterpiece. I would prefer it be read by 11-12th graders. But, sadly, schools decide what books go where depending on what ages can read the words, instead of what ages can understand, and appreciate the words.
